I Dream Piano
"A collection of truly wonderful and original pieces that can serve as an admirable beginning to addressing pedagogical needs. The pieces incorporate neuro-pedagogical and injury-preventative 'best practices' in a holistic approach that is brain, body, arm, and hand-friendly...
The compositions are carefully sequenced; incorporate delightful Australian-related titles; foster creativity in the picture boxes; and present a refreshingly uncluttered 'breathable' format to the developing young brain and body...
These will be a source of inspiration, delight, and enjoyment for beginning young pianists... a substantial and original contribution to the field of piano pedagogy."
— Dr. Barbara Lister-Sink.
Pedagogical Pieces That Illuminate and Captivate.
I Dream Piano ® is a collection of pedagogical pieces created for pianists between 4 - 7 years of age. However, older beginners and those young at heart have also been captivated.
I Dream Piano ® introduces learners to music and the piano through rote, pre-staff-notated, and staff-notated repertoire. Rote repertoire engages with the whole piano keyboard and different keys, pre-staff-notated repertoire explores rhythm, pitch, and hand coordination, while staff-notated repertoire progresses via the intervallic approach to reading music.
The pieces sound sophisticated yet are physically healthy and developmentally appropriate for young beginners - especially those with small growing hands!
I Dream Piano ® aims to inspire budding pianists to explore the enchanting musical realm and its connection to our natural world and beyond.
