Claudia Rapisarda
B.Mus ~ M.Mus

Originally from the Granite Belt and then by the Mullumbimby Mountains, Claudia had an interest in the creative arts from a young age. At 16, she was accepted into Australia’s only specialist secondary music school: The Sydney Conservatorium High School.

 

Claudia has performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, most notably with conductor and pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy. Her compositions have been broadcasted on Sydney’s Fine Music 2MBS FM, and her short film collaboration was nominated for “Best Original Score” at The Idyllwild International Film Festival in Los Angeles (2016).

 

In 2019, Claudia was awarded the John Antill Composition Scholarship and the Postgraduate Research Support Scheme Scholarship for her postgraduate research in holistic piano pedagogy at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

 

Claudia is also the author and publisher of I Dream Piano ®. The Australian repertoire series that is bringing absolute beginner piano pedagogy into the 21st  century.
